St. Joe Mafia
Why is the so called St. Joe Mafia against Peter Zavaleta ? Why is C. Davis , Luigi , Dino, Trey Martinez, Rolando Olvera, against one of their own? Is it jealousy because they are wana be s and can not be as clean both spiritually and physically .Or is it because he is the best Quater back in the history of St Joe that took them to a State Championship ?? What is it about these young professionals All PMZ does is treat them with respect . Please some one out there comment. here? Is there a conspiracy theory ? Is it because he treats every one with respect , Is it because he values God , Family and Country more than they do ??/

I know a lot of St. Joe people who are supporting Peter Zavaleta for district attorney because they know him and respect him. Some of the volunteers working on his campaign are St. Joe graduates or employees. The people you mention have always been against the good so nothings changed.
I read somewhere about what might have happened between Peter & Luigi. Remember, those 2 ran together for the Port board and were considered close friends. Luigi supported Peter to become chairman of the BND and Peter made Luigi chairman of the bridge committee that peter created. But Luigi betrayed that trust when he brokered secret deals with Dannenbaum without peter's knowledge or bnd's lawyers permission. some even say that luigi did all that to keep the BND lawsuit out of cameron county where it would prove embarassing to people luigi has to answer to in his business dealings. Maybe that is the source of the problem. Just a theory. Maybe luigi resents peter because peter stayed true to why he ran and why he was elected. luigi sold out. Just a theory. Maybe PEter Zavaletta should chime in with the real story.
Heard today who Brownsville Barrister really is: Michael (Fat Boy) Cowen. ONe of his uncles is Phillip Cowen, who Armando villalobos feeds a lot of public defender cases to. Antoher uncle is Paul Cowen, Cheif of staff to SINator Sucio Lucio, And Michael Cowen is Gilberto Hinojosa's lapdog and always has been. Not hard to figure out why he has a hard on for Zavaleta.

I graduated in the 70's from St Joe and have lived in Central Texas since. Boy, Brownsville sure has changed. Used to be that honest, respectful young men and women with integrity were lauded and raised up by their peer and elders.
All I hear about & read nowadays n Brownsville, especially in the Chris Davis blog, are negative personal attacks, innuendos and half-truths. What’s your problem, Sir? What have you done, Mr. Davis, to improve life for others in B-ville? (Other than for yourself I mean when you married who you married.) Who are you, Chris? What has YOUR family done for Brownsville? What are you made of? What do you do for a living? Who do you help? Does your life have any meaning? Does your down time consist of conjuring up ways to insult honest, professional, generous people in creepy, petty cartoons? The characterization of Dr. Zavaletta recently crossed the line and only made you, Chris, look stupid and ignorant.
Rather than attempt to smear those in Brownsville who would sacrifice to raise up the city to some semblance of political and judicial "normalcy" (in line with the rest of the state), why don't you (and those you serve) contribute in a positive way, add some concrete measure of goodness. Cause right now, buddy, you’re way out of your league.
